Everyone knows how tasty Girl Scout cookies are, but a lot of people don't know what girls learn by selling them. We're talking about things like goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics - stuff we need to know to be successful. Saying "thank you" when someone buys cookies from you is just good manners. It's also incredibly important in sales because the first thing you must sell is yourself.
Sending thank-you notes can have a huge impact on your cookie sales because it shows that you not only appreciated what your cookie customer bought, you also took the time to tell them so. A thank-you note doesn't have to be elaborate. Usually 2 or 3 sentences is plenty.
