1. Be prepared.
Practice answering customers' questions, making change and sharing your team's goals with other girls on your team. Make a game of it!
2. Go where (and when) the people are!
The key to a successful cookie booth is location, location, location! If your council doesn't assign booth sale sites, work with your team to come up with ideas on where you can find the most people and when. Be sure to get permission to set up there.
3. Decorate your booth to draw attention!
Use colorful decorations like posters, goal charts and banners. Balloons add excitement too! Check out these fun ways to decorate your booth!
4. Play fun music!
Find out whether you can play music at the booth from surrounding businesses or mall managers and use a portable player with speakers to attract attention with fun music. Don't play it too loud, however, or you will scare off customers!
