1. Separate your trash and recycle it.
Get information from local recycling
centers.
2. Take a quick shower instead of a
bath. You will save water.
3. Swap a light bulb. Change a light
bulb to a compact florescent bulb
(CFB). They save 75% electricity.
4. Safely refill and reuse a clean bottle
to take with you for water or other
drinks. Don't use disposable plastic
bottles if you don't need to.
5. Unplug electronics when you are
not using them.

6. Cut plastic milk containers in
half and use them as planters, or
fill them with water and use them
as an outdoor water dish for your
dog or cat.
7. Use less paper. Print from the
computer only when you need to
and save used paper. You can
use the other side for notes and
drawing.
8. Plant a tree.
9. Turn off the water while you
brush your teeth.
10. Fold clothes that can be worn
again instead of throwing them in
the dirty laundry.
