You can blend cookie activities with learning activities for girls. Here are some of activities related the Promise Circle and Daisy Learning Petals.

• Ask the girls some of these questions about what is honest and fair in cookie sale settings.
• Is it honest to keep the money for yourself that a customer gives you for the cookies?
• Is it fair to start selling cookies before everyone else?
• Let the girls figure our how to fairly divide a sample box of cookies among themselves.

• Ask the girls list words and phrases that are friendly. For instance, "Good Morning", "Hi" etc.
• Help the girls practice saying the words and phrases.
• Have the girls think of ways they can be helpful during the sale. For instance, they could always carry a pencil so that the customer can write on the order card, or they can hold a small bag for the customer while they are paying for the cookies.

• Encourage the girls make a list of how to be caring. Talk about possible ways the girls can help others during the cookie sale (donate cookies to a shelter, for instance).

• Ask the girls what it means to courageous or brave. You might consider role-playing games where girls ask someone if they would like to support Girl Scouts by purchasing a box of cookies.
• Consider having a guest at the meeting-someone that the girls do not know-who they can practice with in a safe setting.

• Talk about recycling. What do their families do? Recycle cardboard?
• Discuss things girls can do like flatten the cookie cases and put in their family recycle bin during the sale.
• Is there anything else that can be recycled or re-used? Could they make "keepsake" boxes with empty cookie boxes?
