As a Daisy Girl Scout volunteer, you have the opportunity to help girls experience the Girl Scout Leadership Keys of DISCOVER, CONNECT, and TAKE ACTION. The Girl Scout program prepares them to "become women of courage, confidence and character who will make the world a better place."1
The Girl Scout Cookie Sale activity is an opportunity for girls to engage in the Leadership Experience while earning money to Take Action in their community. Cookie sale proceeds can offset those program costs.

The cookie activity program is a skill-building experience for the girls and their families as girls learn to set goals, talk about their product and Girl Scouting, and connect to family and friends when selling. At the Daisy level parents will learn to interact and guide their daughters in a new way, so that girls can engage in the Girl Scout processes-Girl Led, Cooperative Learning, and Learning by Doing. Participation in Leadership Pathways and the Girl Scout Cookie Activity will encourage parents to be involved from the start and be fully involved and supportive of your efforts.
